This Privacy Policy applies to the DraftMemoAI iOS app, this website page, and related online services. The service provider is Beijing Huangyuan Youmin Technology Co., Ltd. / Wild Nomads.
DraftMemoAI is a separate product from WritelyAI. WritelyAI may have its own product page and privacy policy on the Wild Nomads website.

3. Local Writing Data
DraftMemoAI lets you create writing projects, chapters, notes, outlines, and project background material. Some writing content is stored locally on your device so the app can save drafts, organize projects, and restore your writing state.
Please do not submit content you are not authorized to process, account passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information to DraftMemoAI.
4. AI Autocomplete Processing
When you use AI completion, DraftMemoAI may send the current project name, project summary, enabled project materials, chapter structure, text near the cursor, and a small amount of related project content to the completion service. This context is used to produce the writing suggestion you requested.
AI requests are used to complete writing tasks you initiate, account for usage quota, troubleshoot service issues, and maintain service quality. We do not use your writing content for third-party advertising tracking, and we do not sell your writing content.
5. App Store Privacy Label Alignment
DraftMemoAI's App Store privacy labels may include User Content, Usage Data, Identifiers, Purchases, and Diagnostics. These categories correspond to writing content, product interaction, anonymous user or transaction identifiers, purchase history, and service diagnostic data.
Some data may be linked to your app installation, anonymous user ID, Apple app transaction ID, or purchase state so that we can provide AI quota, validate purchases, restore eligible purchases, prevent duplicate grants, handle support requests, and maintain service security.
6. Subscriptions, Traffic Packs, And App Store IAP
DraftMemoAI may offer free AI traffic quota, an optional auto-renewable subscription, and optional one-time AI traffic packs as digital services. Purchases are completed through Apple App Store / In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment method, billing, tax, refund, and family sharing flows according to Apple's policies.
To activate entitlements, validate transactions, prevent duplicate grants, restore eligible purchases, and handle support requests, we process the product ID, transaction ID, receipt or signed transaction information, subscription status, quota, and related server validation results returned by Apple. Deleting local app data does not cancel an App Store subscription. You still need to manage cancellation through your Apple ID subscription settings.
7. Camera And Text Scanning
DraftMemoAI may request camera permission only when you choose a scanning or capture feature. The camera is used to scan text into your writing. You can deny or revoke camera permission in system settings. If permission is turned off, camera-based scanning features may not work.
8. Usage Data, Diagnostics, Feedback, And Support
To keep the service available, quota accurate, and AI requests diagnosable, we may record necessary product interaction data such as AI requests, quota consumption, balance refresh, purchase attempts, purchase restore, feature entry points, error states, and service response state.
If you contact support, your message may include the email address and text you provide, plus diagnostic details you choose to share. Please do not include account credentials, full sensitive manuscripts, payment card numbers, or unauthorized material in support messages.
9. Third-Party Services
To provide DraftMemoAI features, we may use third-party services such as Apple App Store / In-App Purchase, Apple system services, model services, cloud servers, server hosting, and support email. These providers process data only as needed to provide their respective services.
DraftMemoAI does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.
10. Data Retention And Deletion
You can delete local projects and local app data on your device. Server-side quota, transaction, support, diagnostic, and security records are retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, handle support requests, maintain security, prevent fraud, keep transaction records, or meet legal compliance requirements.
You may contact us using the email address below if you need help with a data deletion request. We may need enough information to verify the relationship between the requester and the relevant app installation, transaction, or support record.
Deleting DraftMemoAI data does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation and refunds are managed through your Apple ID subscription settings. Data that must be retained for transactions, invoices, fraud prevention, security audit, or legal requirements may be retained within the necessary scope.
11. Children's Privacy
DraftMemoAI is intended for general writing users and is not directed primarily to children. If you are a minor, please use the app with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian. If a guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us, the guardian may contact us using the email address below to request deletion.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this policy because of feature changes, service provider changes, legal requirements, or App Store review requirements. Material changes will be communicated through this page or an appropriate in-app notice. Continuing to use DraftMemoAI means you understand the updated policy.
